Listening game you can use

We are working on listening and self control with the game "Red Light, Green Light."  Whenever the teacher says "Red Light" during the game, the children must freeze in position. Then when "Green Light" is heard, all may rush toward the goal.  Try it at home! It's an easy and very fun game for the whole family.  You can make it one step harder by eliminating those who do not stop fast enough during the Red Light, but we give them the benefit of the doubt at preschool, and it is quite self-correcting.
