Adopt-A-Peep Day!

Today in preschool the 4 year olds had fun learning responsibility through our Peep Adoption activity. Each child was responsible for the care of a marshmallow peep for the whole day. (eating our chick would make us not responsible, one child pointed out) We made homes for them, gave them names, learned how to hold them gently and even taught them how to eat sugar! It was great practice for when our baby chicks hatch this week!

Some of our favorite chick names included: Sparkle, Dino, Marie, Shoeshine and Michael Jackson!
