HAPPY THANKSGIVING

The children will celebrate Thanksgiving Monday and Tuesday with a grand Thanksgiving Feast right here at Melody Lane.  Don't be surprised if they don't come home very hungry!  Thanksgiving break begins on Wednesday, November 26.  Have a warm and wonderful holiday! We'll see you back on December 1 and 2.

A week of customs past and present

The children have been enjoying a lively week of exploring the culture and customs of Pilgrims.  A special thanks to parents for the delightful snacks you have provided and for your time and effort in preparing them,  Many of the snacks this month have reinforced the concepts we are studying and enriched our units.

Don't Miss Out!

Don't forget to check the Songs and Recipes Links on the left side of this blog. Have you ever wanted to hear ALL the words to the songs your children are singing, or understand just exactly Foam Dough is (just two common ingredients)?  Keep your eye on these links to keep up with hands-on, fun new ideas and songs!

KEEPING HEALTHY

In conjunction with our unit on Health and Nutrition, we want to encourage you to help all our Melody Lane Kids stay healthy this winter.  We are very diligent in lysoling surfaces and toys and hand gelling frequently.  We ask that if your child shows symptoms such as runny nose, productive cough, vomiting, fever or rash, that you please keep them at home for recuperation. At Melody Lane we teach our children to share generously, everything but germs!  Thanks!
