MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

We have had to POSTPONE our Parent Night Open House. Our new dates will be October 6 and 7. Please join us for a delightful time experiencing Melody Lane with your child. They will be the guide and show you all the amazing things they are doing and learning in our classrooms.  Children in our Three year old classes will attend Tuesday, and the Fours will come on Wednesday.  The open house times will be 5:30-7:00 both nights.

The children helped to prepare a delicious fall snack for you and we are excited to have you and your Melody Lane superstar join us for this important night.  Be sure to check our volunteer list. There are several opportunities to participate with your child to make our year the best that it can be!

PUMPKIN WALK VOLUNTEERS

Here is a wonderful opportunity to have some fun time with your child in the crisp fall air, network with other fun moms and dads, and contribute something important to our community.  Volunteer to help with our Melody Lane Preschool annual Pumpkin Walk scene.  Tens of thousands of visitors come each year to view this extraordinary event, so let's make it the best ever! Our children are always so proud of their part in making it happen. If you would be willing, please call ASAP the preschool at 435 752 2843, or let our teachers know when you drop off or pick up your child.  There are jobs big and small, so we can tailor make one for you.  GET INVOLVED and show our Melody Lane Kids that you care.

This year's theme leaves lots of room for creativity, Now That's Funny.  We can choose our specific theme and there is lots of help and support available.

OUR FIRST WEEK WAS OVER THE RAINBOW!

Take a peek inside our first week at Melody Lane!  Tune in frequently to see our Melody Lane Kids at work!  It is an amazing process to see them learning and growing at such a rapid rate.  We try to create a rich environment where social, personal and academic skills  find fertile ground.

PARENT GET ACQUAINTED PICNIC

As mentioned in our newsletter and invitation, we hope you can join us for the get acquainted picnic Thursday 17 and Friday 18. Bring a small picnic lunch or snack. The morning class will meet at 10:55-11:15, afternoon at 2:55-3:15.  It's a casual affair where teachers, parents and children can mingle and have fun networking with your child's new friends and their parents.  In the event of bad weather, we will be inside.  If the weather is great, bring a blanket and we will enjoy the crisp fall air outside together.
